On seeking conclusions

On seeking conclusions

Read on my website

Hey Reader, Suraj here –

I always look for conclusions, in everything.

Regardless of what it is, I second it with a "so what?" My goal is always to only focus on things that make a direct difference in my life. If something doesn't directly affect me, I try to not pay much attention to the matter. But is this really a good approach?

If everything had a conclusion, a point, how would there ever be questions? Without questions, how would there ever be innovation? Innovation not just in science and technology, but also in our lives, our relationships.

Perhaps some questions should remain questions, some dilemmas should remain unsolved.

Still an idea in progress. I'll catch you next week.

Warmly,
Suraj

But why poster of search

By Suraj Chaudhary But why? Read on my website Dear Reader, Suraj here – About a week ago, I started taking an introductory class in philosophy. We often seem to have obvious reasons for our actions and inactions,...

By Suraj Chaudhary Things that we leave behind Read on my website Dear Reader, Suraj here – Am I the same person that I was in the past? Some part of me has remained, while a lot of me has evolved. With time, I've come to see more, experience more, and learn more. In doing so, I have let go of bits and pieces of me and embraced new ones. But how much of it has happened because it's good for me versus to accommodate expectations? More importantly, what parts of me should I have let go a long...

Children playing at the beach

By Suraj Chaudhary What I value most Read on my website Dear Reader, Suraj here – A little over a year ago, I wrote in an Instagram post about my dilemma of two personas. The dilemma was between focusing primarily on career/success/freedom vs. living a slower life. Now, I think I have more clarity on what I want to pursue. It is: a loving family and a stable home. 3 major things have led me to this. Here they are: #1 Kevin Kevin is one of the most fascinating people I’ve met. We connected a...
